Nested in the heart of the Panhandle of Nebraska lies a fun quilt shop called Pat’s Creative.
It is family owned and operated since 1975, started by my mother-in-law Pat Buskirk, and is currently run by myself and my daughter Shelley.
We are best known for our bi-monthly workshops, great inventory, and friendly service.
Along with our fully stocked quilt shop, we offer our customers BERNINA Sewing and quilting machines, as well as Janome and HandiQuilter.
Our Workshops are free to attend, and always show a fun new idea, technique, product, or project. I love creating Worksheets for the projects, and teaching people to sew.
Shelley is definitely following in my footsteps. I tend to focus on sewing, Shelley on Quilting & embroidery.
In our personal lives, I have been happily married for 44 years. We have 3 great children who are all married, and coincidently, they each have 3 awesome children. My oldest granddaughter has a new son, so guessing that makes me GREAT! And lucky to have 3 steps also.
Along with the quilt shop, we operate a family farm, welding shop, and tree planting business-Trees Are Us. Everybody has a job, and everybody does it!
