My name is Karalee Austin and owner of No Place Like Home Quilt Shop. My mother was an accomplished seamstress and I grew up learning to sew…but I hated it!!! Until I was introduced to the world of quilting.
When my husband and I retired, we decided to move home (hence, the name for the shop). I knew I had to have something to do so we bought a building and decided to make a dream come true.
I have met and become friends with so many great quilters. My goal is to help them not only start beautiful quilts but to finish them also. I love encouraging them to make a list of their UFO’s and then helping them complete that list…one by one.
We pride ourselves in small town hospitality. Our main goal is customer service! And we always have chocolate available.
