Stitch Up A Storm has lots of novelty fabrics and antiques for customers to look at. In the middle of Norton, KS we are located in an old historic building.
Started by daughter, Jamie and mom, Regina, the endeavor was to be a retirement job after teaching for Regina. Jamie wanted a place to work while helping her rancher/harvester husband while raising her three sons and staying on top of all their activities.
Being on a short-string budget, we gathered up a lot of antiques for holding fabrics and improvised with wooden and screen doors to display other items. Using old sewing machines became a display feature and our machine collection has grown and grown.
We specialize in novelty fabrics including patriotic, wildlife, kids, sunflowers and blenders to pull them all together.
